Re: Immersun Noisy Fan

Remove the white front housing and let it run for a while. I think you will find the fan is not necessary for heat dissipation. Replace the front housing with a lattice guard that allows free airflow.

Re: Lithium Fire on Cargo Ship

I'm currently having a problem at hotels refusing to store my battery-electric mountain bike (on advice from the fire brigade) but I can't stay if the bike is not in secure overnight storage with an electrical socket. Older bikes had removable batteries that could be carried into room (no control by...

Re: Which EV charger offers best future proofing

Best future-proofing might be an extra 100mm flexible duct in the trench.

I really don't know why GEO dumped it (unilaterally breaking faith with their customers who had...

Re: Adding a timer to an EV charge point

Hello Mr. Gus,
I no longer have the e-Up (a great city car)! - it was replaced by an MG5 (surprisingly good!)

My question relates to upgrading the old Polar charger with a smart Din Rail time switch. These are available from Amazon but not (it seems) from main UK electrical distributors.

Adding a timer to an EV charge point

I have a Polar dumb charger since 2014 and I would like to install a DIN Rail time stitch - wifi ones are available, but are they advisable?
