Re: Camelot Members Annual Green Electric Generation
Hey Nowty An update for your spreadsheet: My new solar system was installed last week, so I've updated my signature to reflect the increase. Meanwhile, the MG4 is going great. 12000 miles since March. Loving it, and from this week I should be able to fill it up with a significant amount of free home...

Re: Camelot Members Annual Green Electric Generation
I have two 145L hot water tanks (gas system boiler) connected to an EDDI. Still waiting for the EV: Ordered a MG ZS via vanarama 6/12/21. Current delivery quoted as April 23! Got fed up of waiting so ordered a MG4 in Oct 22 from my local dealer. Current delivery on this one quoted sometime before mi...

Re: Comparing solar immersion heater diverters (water heating).
145L each tank. I ordered a mg ZS LR EV on 6th Dec 2021 as a lease deal with Vanarama. I’m still waiting! Latest estimated delivery date they gave me is April 2023. Last month I popped into my local mg dealer and ordered a mg 4 instead. They quoted 8-16 weeks. I’m buying the mg4. We’ll see which one...

Re: Comparing solar immersion heater diverters (water heating).
I self installed an Eddi just over a year ago together with a Harvi and hub. After a couple of hours getting my head round where to place the CTs and which settings to use I got it working and talking to the app. Since then its worked without any problems at all. I had an Zappi fitted in June and I ...

Re: Great October!
I generated 165 kwhs this October compared to 104 kwhs last Oct.
Only 1 kwh exported back to the grid and 44 kwh of "spare" went into my immersion tank instead.

Re: PV on an outbuilding belonging to another property
This is very similar to my plans. I too have a large shed in the garden of my next door property (holiday let). I have room for up to 27 extra panels. I have asked Western Power if I can add to my existing 9 year old grid tied 3kw system and they said they will allow only a further 2kw (as I'm at th...

Re: Camelot Members Annual Green Electric Generation
That was a pretty good estimate.
I'm looking at how to triple it, but DNO limiting me to only 5Kw and I have 3 already, even though I have enough spare south facing roof space for 31 extra panels.
