Re: Integration of different data sets
Hi at present the interpretation of 2 sets of PV data (SOLAX & SMA) and wind (SMA) is only done on paper because all the systems have different apps so it would good to have the data in one “place”. In addition the electrical energy used by the heat pump is displayed on yet another app (SMART LI...

Integration of different data sets

Re: Solar EV charging
Thanks for replies and the info. Our export is limited to the original PV and wind turbine as I understand it. Our domestic battery fills up overnight and during the day we tend to use washer etc, we are all electric . Anyway, I argued that excess generation was not captured and therefore feeding th...

Solar EV charging
Does “trickle” charging an EV from excess solar generated PV cause problems to car battery? We have a Solax system with batteries and a Solax EV charger and it charges the cars a little bit when the house and domestic battery have no demand. This week with sun some of the day it managed 8, 10 & ...

Does anyone know of system which will record electricity usage by a GSHP please? It is an old system, about 15 years, and it has a soft start but it obviously uses a lot despite that but how much?

Re: How about an "end of year" competition?
Yes let’s do it, I can see that it is fun and a “crude” approximation etc but is it worth adding an approximation of miles travelled on land, sea and air and whether retired or not? Next year I could improve dramatically by not travelling to visit family in Australia and New Zealand! They are coming...

Re: Kia? Niro?
We have both a Kia e-Niro and an MG5 and they both good. We test drove a Tesla and we were put off by everything (?) being controlled from the central touch screen. The Kia has a bit of that and the MG has more, so having a passenger helps control the heating, radio, screen demist but it does have s...

I wonder if Putin wants Hungary back? And Georgia and Roumania.
