Re: Octopus Go Intelligent in practice ….

I'd be interested to see what you choose? I like the idea of a Citroën ami hooked to a IO qualifying charger. Especially if said small car does V2G in the near future. We have previously owned an MG ZS EV & Zoe. I’m torn between the heart/wallet telling me a Leaf e+, or desire saying Tesla M3. ...

You will currently get 15p once your on IOG. Yep, just need to purchase an EV 😎 I'd be interested to see what you choose? I like the idea of a Citroën ami hooked to a IO qualifying charger. Especially if said small car does V2G in the near future. We have previously owned an MG ZS EV & Zoe. I’m...

Re: Octopus Go Intelligent in practice ….

Any solar surely should be exported on outgoing octopus….. Indeed, my application is just in for that, so I’ll get 8p per unit. I’ll also switch off my deemed export on the FiT. Octo have told me it will take “several weeks” for that to take effect, so the timings good for the EV purchase.👍 You wil...

Re: Octopus Go Intelligent in practice ….

Yes the whole house benefits from the cheap slot, but you have to have the car connected to get it, fine if you are home doesn’t work for me unfortunately, luckily we have 4x22 kW at work which we can use Could you expand on that please. So if the car is plugged in and not actually charging then th...

Octopus Go Intelligent in practice ….

Hi, Ok, so at the moment I’m on the normal Go tariff. I don’t have an EV, but did in the past (long story) but will probably be getting one in the next month or so. At that point I’ll be going onto Intelligent Go which I’m sure will work ok as I still have a Zappi installed a couple of years ago fro...

Re: Fastest charge inverters

Following on from the snuggy inverter thread, Which inverters out there have the potential to charge batteries from the grid fastest with amp draw vs kwh. Im looking at victron, either multiplus or quattro, but are there any others that have the larger capabilities? As i am on agile import, and hap...

Re: Personal best …..

This took some doing! My system is configured not to export more than 4kW and I’ve implemented a power reduction strategy on my Solar Edge inverters to achieve that. One the battery banks get full, if I dont use the power somewhere then the inverters will automatically scale back production. As I’d ...

Re: HELP PLEASE

SNIP. My battery storage is AC coupled, I use Lux units with Pylontechs supplemented by Chinese stacks inspired from here. SNIP Hope these comments help. Rob Do please tell me more - AC coupled is that what I was thinking of doing by hanging on a Victron Multiplus II to both charge and export the e...
