Re: Lux Power Squirrel Pod

I have this config, although must admit to be at a bit of a loss as to where the term “Squirrel Pod” comes from! I have 2 x Lux ACS3600 LXP units configured as a master/slave pair, each one has 3 x Pylon US2000 batteries, so a total of 14.4kWh of storage. I did have a single unit until last summer, ...

Re: Pylon / Lux oddity ….

Hello again, This useful video explains all - the cable bit is towards the end, about 17 mins in. 👍 https://youtu.be/MLr_KUoSDfk He’s even gone to the trouble of giving the pinouts on how to resolve the problem and also makes a suitable adapter which he has listed on eBay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm...

Re: Pylon / Lux oddity ….

SORTED 🤐 I finally applied myself to this and got it sorted. Hercule Poirot would have been proud of me. When I had a single stack of 8 Pylon US2000s and a single Lux unit, it was installed “professionally” - but there was no earth cabling between the batteries, inverters & earth. When the secon...

Re: Pylon / Lux oddity ….

Thanks, so on the basis that they are already charging faster then 720watts it obviously isn’t that………. They are both doing exactly the same - so I have the same problem, but twice. The Lux units are displaying 150Ah each, so that’s correct, for the 3 batteries. Also, the LED indicators on all 3 are...

Pylon / Lux oddity ….

Hi, Ok, so as a recap, my config WAS 5 x Pylon US2000 with a Lux ACS3600 - all duplicated so therefore able to charge/discharge @ 7200watts as arranged in master/slave config. Each Lux unit could “see” 250Ah of batteries as was confirmed on the LCD screen. In order to fund my Chinese stacks, still i...

Re: Self build in Lincolnshire…..

3mm might be too thick for the spacers to allow the standard connecting straps/links to be used without opening out the holes. Sure I read somewhere a max of 0.5 to 1mm. Good thinking - thanks And I’ve just had a rummage around and found something suitable of the correct thickness. I was putting of...

Re: Self build in Lincolnshire…..

Ok, so here’s the update after a couple of weeks radio silence. 4 of my 10 Pylons have now gone - thus funding the purchase of the second Chinese Stack. I’ve asked Colin for a quote and will get that ordered ASAP. It’s a crazy time of year to have your battery capacity reduced by 40%, but needs mus...
