Re: Idiot's guide to a self build battery
They’re here. :) Dropped off by DPD about half an hour ago. All looks good physically, no damage to cartons or contents. The only minor, I hope, issue is that whoever put the labels on one of the boxes decided to put some on upside down - so I suspect that 4 of my 11 cells (they were shipped in two ...

Re: Idiot's guide to a self build battery
Excellent news.
I had my shipment flash up on the DPD app a couple of weeks ago, with the correct tracking number, but it vanished after a few days.

Re: FiT deemed vs export …
Using 2023 figures only, am i correct in assuming that the actual export tariff is 15p? I have a smart meter and am on Octopus Go, so what steps do I need to take to go from deemed to actual? Im assuming that when it’s all in place theres nothing to stop me filling my boots on Go @ 9p and then expo...

FiT deemed vs export …
Hello all, Id appreciate your critique on my logic here please. My main system gets me the lovely FiT tariff, complete with deemed 50% export. For 2023 that deemed export gave me just over £100 on top of the generated element. My actual export in 2023 was 2160 kWh, slightly more than half but most o...

Re: Frankenstein breaker question …….
Make sure they are rotated so they lie flat and there is a good contact area between them. You may be better off with the bottom one upside down. Judicious use of plain or spring washers may be helpful. I have got double M8 crimps on the output terms of my Victron inverter with no problems. Thanks,...
