Re: Any day now 🤞

What's your plan for them? At the moment I have two Lux ACS 3600 units with 5 Pylon US2000 on each and also a Chinese stack each. It’s been in a year and works well. The only minor issue is that I now have more storage than I can charge on my Octopus Go 4 hour window overnight. Two Lux units gives ...

Re: Any day now 🤞

Ok, so today’s the day that I’ve been advised by China that my recent order for 15 x 230Ah cells will arrive in the UK. My previous two orders “by land train” took 60 days, so I was surprised when the ETA on this shipment was about 30 days. Bring it on 😀 And as if by magic, late last night I had a ...

Re: Adding batteries to solar PV

Don’t forget that with either hybrid or AC coupled solutions that you will also have to run a CT sensing cable so that either inverter can monitor the house for import/export so that it can do its thing. The length of this cable isn’t an issue as it can be done with Cat5/6 data cable extending the c...

Re: Multiple AC coupled systems

The Lux system is modular, with each AC coupled unit giving an additional 3.6kW of charge/discharge capability - subject to certain conditions. I have 2 at the moment, and am awaiting delivery of the 3rd unit. I’m actually on a coffee break at the moment getting everything prepped for its installati...

Growatt 3000TL experience?

Hi, I’m thinking of going down the Growatt 3000 TL BL route for another AC coupled installation. These seem to be available at quite a reasonable price and I’m toying with the idea rather than have another Lux ACS unit. Would be looking to use with some Pylon US2000s and a Chinese stack. I’ve looked...

Re: China cells: Deriytech?

Er, I’m not sure if wires have become crossed, but this is 3rd order from them. I concluded it early this morning by making payment. Nah mate, it's me. Lost the plot on.progress there for a minute! 3rd batch, that's outstanding! Have they come down much on price? My alibaba out here is showing in T...
