Re: Pylontech lower discharge %

No worries, glad to help. It took me 4 months and having to ask China to figure out the "discharge current limit" in the same area giverns the total discharge power of all combined inverters. The app is not obvious at all, but once things get pointed out it's not that hard to understand. ...

Found it, all were set to 10. I guess I set the ones connected to the US2000Cs to 5.

Thanks 👍

Pylontech lower discharge %

Hi, Whilst I was reconfiguring things in readiness for my forthcoming additional Lux ACS3600 unit, I ran for a couple of days without the Chinese stacks. Lordy Lordy, I actually imported some power at full rate on one day, hey ho! So I had my two original Lux units each with only 3 x US2000C Pylon b...

23kWh including the DC coupled system.

It happens every winter. ;)

I also got 23kWh today 👍

Re: Voltage delta?

I have been using a 3 Kw immersion heater for balancing. You just feel the heat in the element / check voltage. Hi Alan, That’s an excellent prompt which reminded me that I have a spare immersion heater element which I pressed into service. Nice easily accessible terminals and a resistance of about...

Re: Voltage delta?

Sorted. 👍 I waited until the stack voltages were similar, within 200mV. Connected the two 0v together & then connected the positives via ammeter & “cable helix” - current was only about an amp. So I went for it, no sparks, cracks or other drama. This will give me an additional 11.04kWh of st...

Re: Voltage delta?

I seem to remember I charged my new pack so far (say 70%) then did a drawdown on the existing home pack to match as close as possible. Even being a measured couple of hundredths of a Volt between them I still got a nice fat spark on final connection. No harm done as far as I could see. I guess with...

I did make that comment in my OP 👍

Voltage delta?

Hi, My newest Chinese stack is ready, 15 x 230Ah cells & sitting at an overall, cell balanced, voltage of 49 volts. Question is, if I want to bring them into service in parallel with another stack, what’s the maximum voltage difference I should consider making the connection at? I’m assuming tha...
