Security cameras….
Hi all, Slightly off topic - but I was wondering if any of you have experience of home security camera systems that you’d be willing to share. There are loads available & at a wide range in price. Reviews of almost all on Amazon, for example, show some criticism of most - hence asking. Ideally I...

Re: Advice/Suggestions please.
I’ve just researched this, the US5000s do come with a slightly longer cable (210 or 200mm), as opposed to the 180mm cables that come with the US2000s.

0.7kWh. So exactly what is the issue here? Your monthly consumption, which is probably now being measured correctly, is a drop in the ocean compared to your standing charge - is it not?

Re: DC coupled battery help on FIt system
Another possibly is to use Solar Kit for the new installation. It has a feature called export limitation & can be set to apply that at the site level - if that makes sense? Ok, you will have to use SE optimisers, but so what?
It’s worth investigating further I think.

Sun Sync?
Does anyone have experience of these? A family member has just got one an installation of 10 panels, a 3.6kW hybrid inverter & 2 x 5.2 kWh batteries. Seems a no frills & cost effective system. I’d not heard of them before & wondered if there was any experience amongst forum members. Cheers

Re: Pylon / Lux oddity ….
Interesting. Have you switched EVERYTHING off? All the gizmos & also the main power? Should help narrow things down possibly?

Re: Pylon / Lux oddity ….
That’s what I do anyway, plus, my Lux units don’t have Wi-Fi. They did when originally installed, but I fitted the wired Ethernet LAN dongles when they became available. I’m a firm believer that Wi-Fi should only really be used for handheld devices, with anything that can having a wired connection ![👍](//twemoji.maxcdn.com/2/svg/1f44d.svg)

Re: Pylon / Lux oddity ….
The app doesn’t download the firmware on the actual inverter - does it? I’ve always asked the guys in China & they’ve done it for me. Support is haphazard enough on the ACS units as it is & I don’t really want to screw things up by doing it myself I’ll eyeball my devices later - they are in ...
