I think you mean eco with one leaf as eco with two leaves should only charge using excess solar PV power. Your link says eco and one leaf.
This makes sense as this should top up with grid electricity when there is little or no solar, at night cheap rate there is no solar power.

Re: MG5 with Zappi on Octopus intelligent go
Is the firmware on the Zappi upto date? I know there have been various changes to the firmware. I asume it is a Zappi 2 - I dont have one yet but looking at it when we next change car, I do have an Eddi. Have you tried posting on the ME forum Zappi section? https://myenergi.info/zappi-v2-f46/ I hav...

Re: MG5 with Zappi on Octopus intelligent go
Is the Zappi integrated into IOG or the car? If the Zappi is integrated then the make of car really doesn't matter at all, it's a Zappi troubleshooting issue. What do the current flows look like on the Zappi screen with the car connected and disconnected? I gather the MG5 has no settings other than...

MG5 with Zappi on Octopus intelligent go
My daughter changed her car from Kona to MG5 and also her tariff to IOG. Account is running but the charger behaves quite differently from when charging the Kona, When plugged into car and set on Eco 2 leaves it always draws 1.5ish from home battery plus whatever solar PV is available until the home...

Re: Rutland 913 Yaw repair
If it is the bit I have circled in blue and it is an ss bolt with a snapped extractor in aluminium the modern way is to spark erode a hex or torx hole into it and then unscrew it with an allen key or torx driver, probably too expensive even if you can find a workshop that does it. You could try usin...

Re: Shed solar on a budget
We use a solariboost unit and a switchbot remote finger (no joke) to time demand or spot demand on HWT charging. It has been an excellent combo allowing us a controlled use of large volume solar or letting the ct clamp sense the out going power and diverting to tank. Good for about 12kWh on a stati...

Re: Part ownership of a Ripple Wind Turbine, fancy it?
Openspaceman, I did mean you could put 2850 Watts of notional generation power and select 100% of it. That will produce just under 6900kWh which is comfortably under the 7000kWh limit without evidence being required, assuming this is your first ripple project. Ah my misreading but I am happy with t...

Re: Part ownership of a Ripple Wind Turbine, fancy it?
I disagree, ....... if yout total exceeds 7000kwh purchase (including existing holdings) a red box appears asking for proof of useage and you cannot proceed with puchase. It would not let me purchase more than 100% consumption despite the end limit showing 120%. George Ditto mine will only go to 10...

That keeps you a tad under the 7000kWh annual spotlight.
