DC battery storage to AC

I have three strings of solar going through my Solis inverter, before output to a Powerwall. Could I divert one of the strings to a DC battery storage solution, which could then feed the Powerwall through the Solis when the Powerwall gets gets low. I see it as simple on my head, but leccy not my str...

Re: Global BEV sales hit 12%

I think the adoption is far quicker than any legacy auto manufacturer predicted! I have said for a while, the first manufacturer to get an EV to £3K down, £200 a month, 300+miles range will not be able to make enough of them. I suspect that's about mid 2025  People generally buy what is of ...

Re: Starting from scratch, new design for grid-tied PV system, 8.5kW panels, 14.5kWh storage, 8kW inverter. G99 Form

I spoke to Scottish Power and they were happy for G98 certification as I limit my export to 3.6kW using Solis G99 and G100 compatible inverter (CT clamp) Belt and braces, I have subsequently applied G99 in the slim hope that Octopus will eventually cave and allow DNO approval to export suitable for ...

648.8kWh from grid, mainly overnight EV charging
94% to house and car
Only 6% to battery (hmmm, interesting, think I need a bigger battery!)
What mode do you have the Powerwall set for?
Time based control, seems to work best for me
