Re: Tesla essentially just told us to "Go Fcuk ourselves"
I would make more noise about it. I really wanted tesla M3, especially since the prices of 2nd hand cars dropped so much but I've read you thorough explanation (even though I follow your thread on this forum too) and I'm leaning towards a different EV. I've driven the car and I like it but when I re...

Re: UK car sales numbers (January 2023 registrations)
Imho MHEV makes much more sense than PHEV where a tiny battery needs to be charged twice a day. I own a car with a small battery (17kwh) and keep thinking about how to plan usage given the practical range can be as low as 20-30miles.

Re: Octopus saving sessions coming 1st Nov
I agree, and further I would say that it's probably quite a cheap experiment, regardless who it's funded by and whether we think it is over-generous. Re: Octopus saving sessions coming 1st Nov
At the moment we are making money by artificially increasing our demand during saving hours. E.g. 95% of my usage during peak rates comes from batteries and yet I'm able to have a saving of 4-6kwh during saving sessions.

Just curiosity, who are we ripping off by playing this game? National Grid, I'm sure they know what they are doing. https://www.nationalgrideso.com/industry-information/balancing-services/demand-flexibility More and more people are aware of how to "play the game". I guess the solut...

Just curiosity, who are we ripping off by playing this game? Not sure we’re ripping anyone off, when you see what the energy companies are making and what customers are paying! Perhaps we should do some group bulky purchase of oil straight from russia and avoid middleman's commission (e.g. shell).

Is it definitely 5.30pm for 1hr?
On my account it shows: "Tomorrow for 1 hour between GMT". The same message is on app and website.
