Re: MCS certifier for DIY Solar PV installation?
We get this quite a lot, usually when the house is up for sale and the searches reveal the lack of some certificate of compliance for the gas or electrical system. It is actually quite a lot of work to go through the whole install and establish that it is safe and compliant with all the regs which ...

MCS certifier for DIY Solar PV installation?
Does anyone know of a MCS certifier for a DIY Solar PV installation please? I've been let down by my electrician. I fitted my own panels and the electrician that did all the AC work had just been on the MCS course and was going to do the certification has over a year later just told me he's given up...

Re: Spurious? Under Voltage Battary Alarms
I installed the system myself (A Electrician made the AC connection) It is set as battery 'Pylon LV' (I double checked yesterday) though the App and web interface says "Battery Model: No battery" despite showing all other battery info, SOC etc. CAN communication seems to be working correct...

Re: Battery rack plans
I have some similar battery rack questions so thought it best to ask here rather than start a new topic. My 2 Pylontech US3000C batteries are going in the corner of a loft room next to the inverter. The room has floorboards and tongued and grooved walls and is only accessible via a loft ladder. I've...

Rail length, minimum bracket to end?
What is the minimum spare rail between the end bracket and end of the rail should I have. My panels are 1050mm and for the single panels with two end brackets it is about 1087 my rails are 3300 and cut to 1099 leaving just 6mm either spare. Not only don't I like spending extra wasting 1m of rail goe...
