Re: Hi From Scotland

Just got a more positive response from another installer: === Hi Brian, Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, it is a lot more cost effective overall to get the panels with the battery system. From the looks of your photos, we could fit some panels on the front of the house (south west facing) and on ...

Re: Hi From Scotland

I have enquiries open with a few installers in my area currently - sent them the pictures in this thread and explanation asking to explore Solar as part of the project and I’ve just had one poo poo the idea again: === Good morning Brian, Thank you for your email and the pictures of your property. Re: Victron/Pylontech Installer in Scotland

Don’t suppose you guys could give any guidance on likely costs involved to install 5x Pylontech US5000’s & a ~5kW inverter? Looking on ITS, they’re currently recommending a ‘Turbo’ branded Hyrbid inverter which is Sunsynk under the covers.

Re: Hi From Scotland

Thanks both. RE: Roof, we’re in a 2 1/2 Storey house built into a hill, so ground floor with the street at the front and ground floor with the middle floor at the back garden. The 1/2 Storey bit meaning the 3rd floor is built into the roof with dormers to the front and back at one side and including...
