Re: Bargain panels for somebody (not mine)

We have a huge flat roof area as well as a big pitched roof which would be beautifully shaded by a load of solar panels removing the need for aircon to make it usable in summer daytime (panels would also provide enough energy to run aircon for free anyway!!!

He was going to do a ground mount array at his passivhaus, but his solar mate said they were all different types and wouldn't work properly together. I think he'd wombled them from said solar mate,...

Re: Balcony solar PV

Sourced a M215 Enphase micro to go with the spare IQ7 for the upcoming pair of panels. I think I might have got my best price here at the end of my PV installs.. 260W panel £30 M215 microinverter £39 incl postage. £69, how good is that? :) Quad them up to get a 1kW(ish) system and it's £276 excl an...

Re: Nowty Towers Vs UK Grid Storage

I think you must live in a different country.

My 4kw of panels aren't perfectly oriented or for that matter on the roof, purely shed based and shaded, but today shows exactly 3.4 kWh.

It's somehwt gloomy up North!
