User Signatures and referrals/affilliate links

This extends to self-promotion in posts which includes the signature block that each user can set up via their profile. And please ensure that your posts as well as signature do not contain any text that can be seen as ...

Re: Does anyone have knowledge of laying concrete slabs?

I had a new double garage built here a couple of years ago. Get the floor as flat as you possibly can. Mine was finished with a circular skimmer (what are they called?) but not actually polished smooth. Even if you don't want it polished flat you will want to paint it (otherwise you will be plagued ...

Re: Smart Meter IHD

I have exactly the same problem. Our IHD only works if it is virtually next to the meter the other side of a concrete block wall. Which means it never gets used because there is no where near there to plug it in to power it. It has rechargeable batteries but they last hours rather than weeks before ...

Re: Pylontech / Victron inverter questions - relative newbie

Hello Dazza, welcome to the forum. Do you have a link for a spec sheet for the specific battery? I can only find US3000C at 3.6kWh or US5000 at 4.8kWh. The data in there should answer a lot of your questions - e.g. they need to be charged at 53V and maximum continuous current discharge at 48V of x A...

Re: Battery Lawnmower

Is there room to make a galv steel (garden wire) tie around it to assist a pull device? No room for wire, but your suggestion has made me think I could wrap a thin piece of material, like ribbon, around to help pull it out. The issue is that you need a thumb on top to press the locking piece in but...
