Re: Site access blocked
Our cert is provided by Let's Encrypt and auto-renews every 3 months using their certbot software. It's been running that way from the start of the forum. Re: The Green Living Forum closure
Thank you Joeboy - no worries if it's not feasible. Hi, we've had a look. Sorry but we don't have the server space. Apologies and some genuine sadness too. That's OK, Joeboy, thanks again for asking. cojmh, I'll look into those possibilities, thank you. I have no idea if I can tell you how big our ...

This is a 'them' problem and not an 'us' problem. An alternative (to use at least until Postimg can fix their problem) is to use the I...

Site upgrade forthcoming
Just a warning that the site hosting company will be doing an automatic upgrade from our current 10 GB HDD to a 20 GB SDD at some indeterminate point but in the nearish future. We are simply in a queue to get this done. Hopefully all will go as planned but there is a small possibility that the site ...

You will need planning permission to install stand-alone PV (i.e. not attached to a building) if it is within 5 metres of the property boundary, or if it exceeds 4 metres in height, or if there is more than one stand-alone installation, or if the total panel area exceeds 9 sqm. or if a single dimens...

Re: St Elsewhere Emoji's
I used to be a member at greenbuildingforum many years ago. From a cursory look it seems they have a couple of issues: 1. mixed http and https in use. There are fairly simple browser security settings that can be made to remove the issue; e.g. in Firefox under Tools - Setting - Privacy & Securit...
