Re: Part ownership of a Ripple Wind Turbine, fancy it?

"I'm not that bothered about locational pricing as its been known for a long time and makes sense for local people to benefit from cheaper energy prices." As somebody who lives in GB6 I am quite concerned. "Local" covers a multitude of sins when it includes south Wales, Bristol ...

Re: Part ownership of a Ripple Wind Turbine, fancy it?

Do you have any more info on what zonal pricing would look like or how it would work Nowty? There is a bit about locational pricing here, https://camelot-forum.co.uk/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=44423#p44423 At the AGM last night it was stated that the current favoured option by the government was Zonal,...

Re: Octopus saving sessions coming 1st Nov

What a shambles, there have been 2 live sessions already, Fri 29th Nov and Mon 2nd Dec, both with a 500MW requirement, only two companies bid, Axle and Gridimp at circa 75p for a handful of MW's and were both rejected. The messages clearly are not coming through normal channels (via elexon) an...

Re: Part ownership of a Ripple Wind Turbine, fancy it?

We had the GF AGM earlier tonight, two main concerning points, 1) Sarah thinks zonal pricing is likely to come in and be announced first quarter of next year. For GF it might not affect it much and it might even enhance DW, but KH and WB will likely suffer. It seems to be a cheap political solution ...

Re: Octoplus rewards - Greggs

I got an email apology from Octopus that the free Coop pop corn code ran out earlier than they expected leading to some folk having an embarrassment in store. I clicked the offer but never actually got round to going to the store. Octopus is providing compo, I don't know if everyone is getting...

Re: Intelligent Octopus Go

I know the unused slots only get removed if you unplug the car or cancel the current charge session in the Octopus App.

Re: Part ownership of a Ripple Wind Turbine, fancy it?

After last months low wind, capacity factor's for Nov are now in and as forecasted, its a grim month with continued low wind resource. If it was not for Storm Bert, both would have ended well below 50% of baseline. GF is 50% down on baseline. https://i.postimg.cc/QCDHNDZv/GF-24-Nov.jpg KH is a littl...
