Re: Where am I ?
Colmar is the place, I stayed there last year on my way down to daughter’s just because it was convenient for the motorway and a Tesla Supercharger. I did not even go into town. Last night SWMBO persuaded me to drive into the centre and I pleasantly surprised how nice it was. Today was on...

I’m with you there Bugtownboy, 25 degrees is our perfect temp all year round. We don’t put the air con on until it reaches 28 degrees.

Re: DNO form for G99, Help!
Yeah I was surprised, maybe because I put the installation date as tomorrow even though I've been doing it on and off all week. But I have a problem, went to power up the inverters and the one I had delivered a few days ago is DOA, turn on the incoming power and it trips the RCBO instantly, swapped...

Re: Nowty Towers Vs UK Grid Storage
I installed a 12kW system with a 5kW export limit on a friend's property (5kW being the maximum level set by Western Power for his system). It would regularly trip inverters out due to high voltage during mid summer (and his motor capacitors had a tendency to fail prematurely!). Eventually he compl...

Re: Nowty Towers Vs UK Grid Storage
That's pretty impressive! What's your maximum export - 3.68kW? Have you tried asking for more? Around here, Western Power ALWAYS said 3.68kW, but then after the FIT goldrush subsided, they started regularly offering people 5kW or even sometimes higher, if their neighbours didn't have PV also. Years...

Re: Nowty Towers Vs UK Grid Storage
The Nowty Towers daily generation record is currently 100 kWh. Yesterday I generated 98 kWh with a little cloud. Today its sun, sun, sun but a little hotter and less wind. My SMA forecaster is suggesting I might get around 102 kWh or 103 kWh today. I sprayed my ground mounts with cooling water and ...

Hit 85kW charge speed and is effortless to drive. :D Ionity Alnwick, all good. :xl: "Joe, can we get a private plate"? That was at 05.10hrs driving into Aberdeen train station.  Some brass neck eh? :praise: ;) https://www.swiftreg.co.uk/private-number-plate/SW19MBO
