Re: One bed semi detached bungalow for sale Aberdeenshire.

3 bungalows came up for sale in my mothers road in the past month, all sold within a couple of weeks. Similar experience in my neck of the woods too, bungalows seem to be very sought after.

Now to rejig my battery charging and discharging times to optimise things. What are the pros and cons of exporting at a high(ish) rate over a small period v a...

Re: Dealing with excess solar:

I deal with excess solar by, 1) Home battery becomes near full and the DC coupled charge controllers will simply throttle off and shut down. 2) First 4kW excess gets exported, any more excess gets diverted to pump power into storage heaters and/or hot water tank. 3) If I’m out, any further excess ge...

Those old transformer based Sunny Boys may not be the most efficient these days but they are near bomb proof. They will likely see us all out.

I have a feeling this was not supposed to be a dovetail joint but a square joint. But I miscut the first piece and somehow managed to cut the second piece to match the first irregular cut. ;)

Re: Nowty Towers Vs UK Grid Storage

I’m cooking dinner for my mum and what did I find in her cupboard in full operating service ?

A spice rack I made in school woodwork class.
