Re: Balcony solar PV

Terrible weather here compounded by my flattening of the stack overnight as I'd left no grid charge window open. It's rained pretty much all day but we are happily seeing 1kW incoming even this late in the day. :D Succumbed and bought just one more wafer thin solar panel for the Enphase shed....

Re: Balcony solar PV

I was more thinking a single vertical mounted panel for late afternoon. https://www.cityplumbing.co.uk/p...

Re: Balcony solar PV

A late burst of sun at half four. The workshop solar kicking out nearly 300W. Very happy with that! https://i.postimg.cc/15XcyzPg/20240427-162443.jpg Is it just me or is there room there for two small form factor bifacials? 🤔 https://i.postimg.cc/sDbn8WSf/20240427-162531.jpg I'd have to move the wor...

Re: The heat pump results are in

Mightily impressed with your 5.19cop today Ian! It's not exactly warm up here yet. I think you might be looking at the wrong HP as my cop has only averaged 3.7 today, it does a legionella cycle on Saturday where the flow temperature gets up to 70+C and this hammers the efficiency. Think I'll alter ...

Re: The heat pump results are in

Enjoyed the video. SWMBO just said "is the bore of pipe feeding the rads adequate for a heat pump". I fell out the bed, can't kid her on about anything, misses nothing! I think I'll get a quote.. I have a company I would recommend. Mightily impressed with your 5.19cop today Ian! It's not ...

Re: Idiot's guide to a self build battery

:o wow! Call me old fashioned but I like accurate pin outs and manuals the same. Silly I know. Yeah! JK have some of the best BMS's but terrible documentation. i expect Felixstowe to be next dock in a day or so depending on alongside time in Rotterdam. Nearly there! :) Exciting! Lo...
