I don’t like using energy that has already been generated and storing it in any store. You loose. It is less than 100% efficient so with energy storage we will use more energy than without it

I would happily turn off my fridge and freezer during the peak, and other things if asked.

This is a brilliant initiative in HK. I like reducing better than reusing and recycling is the last resort. They do massively reduce waste by seperating valuable resources and effectively ‘mining’ useful materials. Weee need them!

I would be thinking DraughtProofing, insulation, elimination of in house winter cooling systems (dot and dab, soil pipe boxes, party wall cavities, insufficient loft insulation, un insulated thermal bridging from gable walls and chimneys, uninsulated floors etc) Doing things on a task by task basis ...
