I guess the best that be said at present is it is still an immature technology that might see a breakthrough. Looking at our progress so far we are almost certainly going to need some kind of geo-engineering to keep the temperature stable.

It is both PM2.5s and NOx levels that count, for instance our car is way cleaner than the limit for PM2.5s but above the limit for NOx so it wont be compliant.

I think the unanimous opinion is that PV and a diverter beats ST these days. There are also some intrinsic problems with ST. Eg: if the water boils it can be dramatic, all liquids leak eventually, all moving parts (pumps) fail. However if you really want to mess around with ST I don't imagine it'd ...

I haven't read through the manual completely yet, how do you designate any particular battery as master, I don't think I've seen any reference to that? It's the one with link 0 port empty. Thanks chaps, I haven't read through the manual completely yet, how do you designate any particular battery as master, I don't think I've seen any reference to that? Six Panels are all mounted up on the woodstore and shed, wired up and connected (almost) to the inverter in the loft. Good fun was had...
