Thanks for the heads up, I am sure she will be ok with that, she is a smart cookie and will be willing to plan around the timings.

Re: Shedhenge
Having been live now for nearly four months it seems timely to add a progress update, if any of you are still awake :D In early Feb the woodstore/shed array was connected, 6 of Canadian solar 410W panels. https://i.postimg.cc/qNdWt8jR/IMG-8635.jpg This shows the steel sections Mr Smegal sold to me b...

Re: Heatpump tumble dryer?
Thanks for all the info regarding HP tumblies, I am convinced now that Fiona (our customer) is using a LOT of energy yearly in that machine alone, getting on for 2000 kWhr/yr from the info we have gleaned so far. If these HP versions are as good as they seem it will be cost effective for her to ditc...

Heatpump tumble dryer?
Has anyone got experience of heatpump tumble dryers? We have a customer who uses an enormous amount of leccy a fair bit of which is down to tumble drying. She runs two Physio clinics from her house which demands a lot of laundering towels hence the use. The makers blurb says that heatpump tumblies u...

Thanks for the offer and reply but I am in NW Surrey but still struggling to find an electrcian to work on slightly out of the ordinary requests. I know a good sparky who is based in Walton who likes a tech challenge and is very reliable, I can ask him if you wish? I am not a sparks but I think the...

It's one of those Eureka moments, why didn't we think of this before? There must be thousands of tall structures that could be used.

Re: 20 Green H2 projects green-lit
There is certainly a good argument for H2 in the avoidance of curtailing wind and solar when demand is low, but as has been said already the FF industry are understandably trying to hijack it. Having said that what do we do with the oil and gas industries? surely we don't want another Coal industry ...

Re: Question Time audience asked: Was Boris Johnson telling truth?
It's a shame politics is not in favour here, the whole renewable, sustainable movement is intensely political, we absolutely need to get the politicians to act decisively, quickly or nothing will happen. What we do as individuals or collectively on the forum here is invisible to the issues, but as a...

Re: Latest CFD round
It's barely a few coppers down the back of the sofa when you consider public sector spending is set to be just over 1000Bn for 23-4. A couple of billion wouldn't be any sweat to the treasury but would create quite a few jobs. They could have taken a leaf out of Bidens book and offered a greater tax ...
