Thank you all. So when you use a smart plug the iboost is being disconnected from the power....and will pick up seamlessly when power is restored?

Unsure what you want to do? Iboost diverts surplus solar to immersion heater. What are you wanting to turn on/off ? Or what am I missing ? George Hi. I have ordered an iboost on my new system but need to remote control it. Just on and off, nothing fancy. Hi, I have been getting loads of quotes in. I didnt intend to get so many but some were just silly prices, or installers who didnt bother to locate the house with the coordinates or WTW I gave them. One illustration was on a neighbours roof...., another couldn't find the house and then blamed google...

I am paying for an installation and the g99 is part of that. I wont be spending much on batteries, rather investing in an oversized array to start with, therefore ecport durimg the summer is top priority to justify the expense.

My original FIT accounted for 3.68kW of that and my application was for an additional 2kW So does this mean in the worse case scenario of being pulled back to 3.68 or whatever that I can re apply? Hopefully the "rooftop revolution" will improve things as the idea is to get more generation...
