Re: Car Battery

Thank you for your replies. We removed the battery from the car and connected it up and has been charging since around 4pm - 10pm. The battery charger has a pointer and the scale is 0 - 2 - 4 - 6. The pointer was half way between 0 - 2 and it looked pretty much the same when I switched it off, if an...

Re: Car Battery

The battery has been removed from the car and is now on charge. The idea of a low wattage solar panel to charge up the battery sounds good - can you point me in the right direction of what to buy and where from please. I dont think I would be able to keep taking my battery off the car, charging it a...

But again not using the car much and it is sitting on the drive. I do like to have a car, to get out and about if ne...

Re: British Gas/Ebico

I have double checked with Avro Energy and those prices I have quoted are including VAT.

Just hope the switch goes without any hitches as I have had a few bad experiences in the past when switching suppliers - fingers crossed.

Re: British Gas/Ebico

Thanks for all your replies. I have looked at around 21 different suppliers (drove me round the twist), trying to find the lowest standing charges - the unit prices are all very similar. I have based my pricing on 789 of gas and 542 electric. Some want as much as 28p for a daily standing charge. I d...

Re: British Gas/Ebico

I spent most of yesterday looking at different gas/elec suppliers and I was interested in Pure Planet until I realised they had no phone number or customer service department - I much prefer to talk to someone if I have a problem. Avro are looking the best price for me and they came 3rd out of 25 co...
