Re: Adding Pylontech battery ….

I have a vague memory of having to change the pinouts on the bms cable from the Lux to the Pylontech "c" series battery on my sons system when i gave my son my acs3600 and he bought 4 x us3000C battery's. So i think you have to use the new battery as the master with the adapted bms cable a...

Re: LuxPower - “balance” issue

I had the same. I emailed Lux in China and they did a firmware update which fixed it… (Don’t bother with infinity, you’re wasting your time.) I had the 3600 software upgraded by China when the new slave unit was added - so the software is only a few months old. What exactly did you ask China please...

Re: Solaredge Monitoring Offline ?

And the great thing about the SolarEdge is that is supports modbus over ip so you can integrate it into your home system. I'm concerned about the accessibility of parts for the optimisers in 20 years time. We will cross that bridge when we get to it. Yesterdays Data has now backfilled so i guess it...

Re: PylonTech Batteries and Hybrid inverters

ok thanks for the information .. i think we will go with a 5kw standard inverter with a ct clamp to limit export
and the Lux Ac unit.

The cost works out about the same for the 2 units or the 5kw hybrid unit.

Re: PylonTech Batteries and Hybrid inverters

No problem mentioning brands. I have a cheap/cheerful LuxPower inverter/charger linked to my stack of Pylontech batteries. It works well, the web based user interface is a little clunky, but it does its job and I haven't heard any stories of unreliability. Solax, SoFar, and Solis are also well rega...
