Re: New home turbines?
Oh great we’re back the chocolate teapot stage again. I really hoped we’d moved beyond that nonsense but it seems not. Small turbines in urban areas are a waste of time and money due to physics. And all they serve to do is divert money from real domestic solutions like solar panels , and provide a v...

That is certainly unusually high proportion of interconnections. Guess there’s a lot of wind in mainland Europe?

Re: Transformer fires
Yeah that seems pretty poor - to have known about it for 7 years but to have simply done nothing to rectify it... Also an interesting finding is that there doesn't/didn't seem to be any system that made it clear and obvious where and when grid transformers are connected to what is considered critica...

Hi Colin
Sounds like a good idea to me - China almost feels like a different universe to what we're all used to here in the UK/Europe!

Re: Stupid question?
Legislation is the Law. We can discuss what the Laws are, share info on new Laws, how they're implemented, and the flaws in those Laws.
What we don't want to get drawn into are the party political "debates" that precede Legislation.

Apologies for linking to Facebook but couldn't find this video elsewhere. https://www.facebook.com/reel/663736316680477 This reel shows solar panels being moved into a construction site in the Chinese mountains via drone. 40 drones are moving 360 panels a day from the depot onto the installation area.
