Re: Waterwheel snapped shaft

What an excellent refurb /repair. You would hope the owner would come to the party even if just costs ........ Looks like about 1 weeks work + £1,000 stated parts? At his skill level that's about £3k + travel & accommodation. He should NOT be carrying that whole can. The customer got a complete...

Re: Nowty Towers Vs UK Grid Storage

Had a back strain, not sure how, as I was just walking through the kitchen at the time. Cold pack, voltorol, paracetamol, and a little rest and I'm back in business but in slow motion, SWMBO is doing a sterling job helping out too. 3 down but the last ones always a fecker. :evi...

Re: Nowty Towers Vs UK Grid Storage

They were £75 each with the VAT but the free delivery is sweet. I think they manage to do this because they come from a local depot, so a relatively short distance. I don't actually know how they do it. My single panel was strapped to a long pallet. Very much.on.its own and the guys at the depot be...

Waterwheel snapped shaft

My heart goes out to Kris in this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=br0cONjrxzY As its a prototype and I would like to think sold as exactly that, I would hope that the customer at least covers his costs for parts? A sad one if he doesn't and makes me think on the old saying "No good deed ...

Emporia tablet

My MIL is 87 and fit as a fiddle. Nonetheless SWMBO worries. I thought it would be a good idea to get her a simple tablet for video calls. First of all, we found that not all (or indeed many) tablets have sim cards. We settled on this Empotia tablet for seniors and got a £8 2GB.per month 1 year cont...

Looks good Nowty, can I ask the panel price? Mind and update the list. :D
I'm guessing £63.17 each or four for £252.68.
Now look here, my scrolling thumb needed recharged!
