Well this is interesting - a campaign to get marketing, PR and advertising agencies to stop working with fossil fuel companies - they say they have 1,000 agencies signed-up so far.

This has vibes of "nuclear power will be too cheap to need to meter your electricity" Yes the falling cost of PV is absolutely essential, but then so is correct installation, correct orientation, avoidance of shade, and good quality wiring. If people just start vomiting out PV and pebbleda...

Semantics really; it marks the end of the testing and commissioning phase and the "official" completion of the project, even though it's been working just fine for a while.

Although only at half capacity for the time being due to grid constraints on the other side of the link!

UK "only" added 2GW of wind capacity in 2023, with 17GW in Europe more widely, of which 14GW was onshore.
