Re: Balcony solar PV

Trying to work out the best (cost effective) way to mount the panels to my shed roof. City Plumbing have various rails, foot mounts, clamps etc - but I hadn't realised how expensive they are - currently will come to nearly £200 to mount 4 x 430W panels - which is a lot as the panels will only be £3...

Re: Massive battery + electric boiler

You really want to do a proper heat loss calculation for your house, or at least look at your previous heat demand to work out the kind of storage you need. 60kWhr isn't going to heat a leaky Victorian house for long when it is freezing outside, a few hours at best. Personally I would think long and...

Re: Sunak to snooker Solar

Absolutely Mart, there probably is some kind of compromise that suits both food and energy production, it is as Dan says a divisive ploy to smokescreen the fact that the present GOV is ruining the country to their advantage. Don't be fooled by them they are not stupid, they by design are in power mu...

Re: Gas Usage while on holiday?

You need to consult the manufacturers installation instructions, only if they specifically state and supply the conversion kit can you do it. If it is an ILFE or a DFE model be careful as the ventilation requirements may be different for LPG.
