Re: Part ownership of a Ripple Wind Turbine, fancy it?

Another video update to the KH commissioning. The good news is the DNO has completed its testing and three turbines are now operating, T2, T4 and T5 are now commissioned and running. Ignore Jamie's gremlins comment about T4 and T5 as the video has been annotated to say they are now commissioned and ...

Re: Outgoing Octopus

I have now been opted out of FIT deemed export payments and on Octopus Outgoing since late Nov 23 so I have a full 5 months worth of experience with it in the less sunny parts of the year so I thought I would give an update to how it’s going. :oO: If I was still on deemed exports, I would be getting...

Re: Accelerated grid connections for renewables

Up to now the Grid has taken the worst case scenario for the ability to transmit power ie at max ambient temp and no cooling wind, and at the same time taken the max electricity that can be transmitted/produced. On that basis the cable is rarely if ever transmiiting max practicaly speaking. For a f...

I have received a mystery parcel from Octopus. https://i.postimg.cc/B6hHCXrL/Octopus-Mystery-Parcel.jpg It explained why I recently had been awarded a bonus of 6400 Octopoints worth £8, so whatever I'm doing they seem to like my feedback. https://i.postimg.cc/KzjMqmr1/Octopus-Mystery-Parcel-v2...

Hi Nowty -as below... Capacity owned 2.858 kW Whitelaw Brae 0.200 kW Derril Water 0.875 kW Kirk Hill 1.784 kW Expected annual generation 7,000 kWh Whitelaw Brae 484 kWh Derril Water 857 kWh Kirk Hill 5,659 kWh So you are probably a fraction over the 7000kWh limit once you go to extra decimal places...
