Yes, I increased my GF holding 3 times before it sold out, and the third time including having my usage agreed above 7000kWh with a load of excuses, heat pump, EV, etc.

I recall from previous offers you can sometimes get the warning with it showing exactly 7000kWh because of the hidden decimal point figures so I would go with 6999 kWh to be safe. You actually buy your shares in milliwatts or watts to 3 decimal places.

Re: Part ownership of a Ripple Wind Turbine, fancy it?
:xl: :D I disagree, ....... if yout total exceeds 7000kwh purchase (including existing holdings) a red box appears asking for proof of useage and you cannot proceed with puchase. It would not let me purchase more than 100% consumption despite the end limit showing 120%. George Ditto mine will only ...

"Electricity generated by burning gas and coal fell to a record low of just 2.4% for an hour at lunchtime on Monday 15 April, according to an analysis of data from National Grid’s electricity system operator (ESO)." Nowty Towers was over 8.7kW grid negative at lunchtime on that date. :mrg...

You can buy 2850W no evidence required or questions asked.openspaceman wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 9:26 pm I am going to have a punt but as I only buy 1000kWh a year I'm limited to 600W.
That keeps you a tad under the 7000kWh annual spotlight.

Joined the ranks at Whitelaw Brae today :D I will be watching my calendar for a long time now awaiting the turn on in the years to come. I would love you to have bought 2,372 kW of it, but I guess your sig means 2,372 Watts or do you mean you've bought enough to generate 2,372 kWh per year ? Your t...

GF monitoring comms is coming back soon. :xx: Data outages - update 22/04/2024 We are aware that the turbine communications have been off since the second week of April. We have been liaising with various parties to determine the source of the issue which appears to have been network-related, and so...

Re: England could produce 13 times more renewable energy
I plotted this graph using the top GDP countries or economic areas. Only China, the rest of Asia and India (from a lower base) are increasing their greenhouse emissions. But I cannot see the rest of us reducing as much as we need to, we look pretty much flat. The UK might be doing well with leccy ge...

Re: Shed solar on a budget
Update time. 1600w of longi panels on the shed roof, one panel left to be set up. I've reconfigured the westwards array to be flat on the roof of the other sheds down the side of the house. Shaded until after 1300, currently 1500w of panels connected to a £60 G83 Sunny roo inverter from ebay. My ho...
