Well I waited till after Xmas to go out for quotes, had the first one back but they’ve completely ignored the requested quote for batteries and also in roof mounted panels so not the best start is it ? :(

Time for an update - so far had four companies look at this roof and two quoted the original company who quoted rail mounts first time have really come good with their detail and they are offering a 2.9kWp system, I’m just waiting for them to quote two 3000c’s and the solis inverter to match and I think that will be the one I go with for the parents roof.

Two companies never even returned my initial enquiry so they must have enough on within their immediate catchment ?

Got the mother in law sampling some solar energy over the last few days - in this photo you can see smoke from a gras fire which has burnt for two days around mynydd tal y mignedd and totally turned them black !

Happily today that fire has burnt out for want of fresh fuel, mercifully the wind has been almost negligible so the burn was steady and embers were minimal.

Whilst all that’s been going on I got my battery shed built

Just as long as i keep telling the boss that she cannot keep the new pram in there!

As it is Henry is using it to stash his sit and ride and trike in as his garage

Hopefully today I should be starting to board it out ready to install the inverter and batteries :)
