Hi all. As a bit of an after thought, I've realised that I should be looking at insurance for my pv system.
Has anyone got any recommendations for a ground mounted system. A quick Google says that it'd pr6be excluded from a home insurance policy.
Domestic Ground Mount PV - Insurance
Re: Domestic Ground Mount PV - Insurance
What risk are you insuring against?
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger
(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Accidental damage to the panels. Or worst case if the unthinkable happens and it goes flying and damages property.

Include it under your garden furniture the same as you would a shed.

That said I have a mobile ground mount that’s sat in a full in 90mph winds at 300 meters above sea level only held in place by a sand bag and a wooden pallet at its base ( back to a wall like yours ) and it’s gone nowhere.
Your structure is low down, surrounded by wind breaks ( houses) and a very open structure so turbulent air is going to spill away from it easily - you may see it flex but that’s what it should do and doesn’t mean it’s going to fail
