Harry is convinced by solar after 18 days

This is the best farming channel on youtube. He had solar fitted on what looks like an asbestos-cement roof and is now fitting a ground mount at about 9.40 minutes. I bet that hedge gets reduced in height.

Harry gets his ground-mounted pv and learns about shading, plus the staggering cost per kWh for grid power.

Look at the length of the shadows.

Harry, if the suns low in the sky and its cloudy, especially at this time of year on that flat array, you're going to get bugger all.

But wait till next May to Aug, even in cloud that 12kW almost flat array is going to kick ass.
18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 26MWh generated
5 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's
Rain water use > 510 m3

Exactly, my 3.87kWp 50-degree slope system often outperforms my 10.24kWp 10-degree slope system in winter all due to the low angle of the sun.
3.87kWp PV
10.24kWp PV SolarEdge system
Tesla Powerwall 2
100 x 47mm Navitron tubes (still being installed!) Now likely to be removed for more PV.
MK2 PV router DHW diverter
Morso 5kW WBS
Vaillant AroTherm 10kW ASHP
Nissan Leaf
