Hey guys n gals,
We had the most epic day here today. 35kWh on the main & 12kWh on the second array. Without a doubt the best day ever here at Casa De Pantsmachine (Who)?
As we'd been away down South and SWMBO was catching up to her place of all being mint again we ran the washing machine 4 times, dishwasher once, ran the HWT up to 80 Deg, showered, charged HWT AGAIN, charged the car to max, went out, got stuff, came back, charged car AGAIN, cooked dinner, ran a couple of heaters to take the sun dipping edge off and even charged the phones (then the portable batteries for phones & all power tools). All entirely gas & grid free, even the woodstove is idle.
This isn't a brag, I kept thinking to myself today, 'Its all working as planned,....gotta tell the guys'!
Well guys, I hope you had a similar day? Here at Casa De P this has most defo been the culmination & showcase day of last years work on array extension and laterally the battery extensions. Was kicking back this afternoon with SWMBO catching some rays on the deck loungers, I was on the phone apps making it all dance and she said 'You're really chuffed with yourself and into this stuff aren't you'? Knows me backwards that lassie!
Gonna clean the panels tomorrow morning as forecast is outstanding and i'd love to see 1/2 a squeak over 50kWh combined purely for the numeral satisfaction. Some day man!
P.S Can someone please take a moment to track down Scruff and ask him back in? Would be nice if he could control his LA to Lifepo frenzy type events, but the doors open regardless.
How's your July?

Re: How's your July?
50 kWh today, some sun, quite a bit of cloud but cannot complain.
June was down 200+ kWh because of 4 poor consecutive days mid month which resulted in some import, don't normally have more than 2 consecutive bad days in summer, but all import was at 5.5p / kWh.
But when that big bad boy in south Wales starts cranking, those poor days will likely be offset by wind generated kWh's.
Haaa,haa,haaaaaaaaaaa
I can hardly wait !
PS - Amy and Peater156 seem stuck in no mans land on S&S, so if anyone has their contact details, please rescue them.

Re: How's your July?
Yesterday was poor for me, 13.6kWh. I consider anything over 20kWh to be a “good” day and anything over 25kWh to be a great day. There have been perilously few “great” days this year so far...
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger
(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Great day yesterday with a total of 93.6kWh, June was my second best ever at 493kWh compared with the previous average of 419kWh, makes up for the worst ever May!
