Octopus Panel Power tariff

Just had an email from Octopus saying they’re cutting the commercial solar export tariff Panel Power from 15p/kWh down to 8p/kWh citing a fall in wholesale electricity prices.

Might have to look into the impact of that in terms of whether that makes batteries more of a good idea.

Lets hope that it is just the commercial solar export rate that gets cut, but from your companies POV I would think the batteries will look much more attractive now, especially with the corresponding low price of batteries at the moment.
