It's a long time since I got sunburnt, but I would have said my nose suffered, I have never thought of it as immune!
Maybe turning the head to avoid sun in the eyes keeps the nose shaded, or maybe it is the most exposed part of the skin so has a protective tan before anywhere else...
I found this advert https://nozkon.com/ and couldn't quite decide whether it was a spoof or not, I think it is serious, How about
The NozKon® can be:
trimmed for a custom fit on your nose
soaked in water to provide additional cooling in the heat
used as a floatation device for most sunglasses
I'm not sure how it both floats and yet absorbs enough water to do evaporative cooling.

That really would have brought attention to my dog chewed nose, reminds me of early syphilis after nose covers / 1st world war cosmetic covers for wounded men.

... I presume you mean the alpine floating panels rather than the nose screen!
Me too, but I would like to see them in winter. We have seen lots of pics of reservoirs with floating panels (which are brilliant, cutting evaporation, saving on eliminating foundations, etc.) but this is a bit different.

I will see if I can dig out that areas tourism /pr & ask them what webcams & monitoring stations for hydro & solar output are available.
