Sorry the update is late but it’s been a busy day, the fuse link holder is in ok condition but had signs of heat where the fuse link had struggled with the high charging current before giving up. The sun was out today so after a short period where the washer was on I popped in the spare 50 Amp fuse link and switched everything back on in sequence. Charged happily at 500W ( wife was running the tumble dryer by then and solar generation was around 1.3kWp, as the last of the days light and charging gave way to discharge I turned the inverter off and isolated the battery again with a finishing charge of 26% nothing was remotely warm to the touch.
The 100A fuse links arrive Thursday so I will only put the inverter on if we have charging weather and keep the batteries above the 18% SoC point to avoid bulk charging being called by the bms/ inverter.
