March has certainly started with lots of clear sunny skies - great for the solar. Have already passed the whole of January's generation total in just 6 days!

Yes it 'was' amazing, i passed Decembers total in just the first 4 days, and averaging just over 43kWh over the first 5! Seen quite a few Bumblebees too so far, back to normal Cornish mizzle today though, forecast barely over 10kWh today. Ah well, it was good while it lasted.

March has been stonking to-date!

Considering: I live in the north, have a small solar array, battery pack, and inverter, charge 2x BEVs, and am still heating a 5-bed house, I think this is a really good effort.

Here is how I'm doing so far:

Image
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
6x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (14.4kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

I can’t match that :D mind you our heating seems to have stopped working maybe I will.
Currently not at home but I tried to get our daughter to play around with the settings but no joy. I suspect the thermostats, the plumber who swapped them on the buffer tank last month, have failed :head-bang:

76p a day and most of that will be the standing charge, it really does show what is possible with some investment. :xl:
