Sunsynk ECCO 8.8kw hybrid inverter..
will be a couple of weeks before it goes on though when the sparks come back.

Give me time to finish the plasterboard, etc and hopefully get some garage doors on!

Sunsynk seem to be the best value at the moment, particularly at higher power levels.
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Yeah... Not sure how reliable they are. But fingers crossed.

Shame DNO wouldn't let me get any bigger than the 8kw... Really wanted at least the 12kw.

Need to find out what size lugs it can take... So can sort this bloody bus bar out... The manual said takes M6 lugs with an inner diameter of 8.4mm??? Wouldn't that be an M8? :?:

I think the battery leads are M8 lugs... And the heavy duty bus bar I was looking at seem to be M10. Nothing is ever straightforward.

Nice looking inverter!
It’s my make/model of choice when I get around to it

Once it's in mate I will no doubt update the thread if any issues arise!

This is what I've settled with:

Image

Just need to decide whether to go mersen or the keto disconnect switch. Also, find a bus bar box that looks ok, all the ones I have seen so far don't look very safe even with the covers on them. Don't want any chance of fingers touching the terminals!

Going with 35mm² cables for everything to match with the ones that came with the batteries. Just need to find out what size lugs are needed for each terminal.

Am I right in thinking that the inner diameter of the lug is what size M# it is? So 8mm ish inner diameter is M8... 10mm inner diameter M10 etc etc?

Looks like the inverter actually is an M6 (6mm) bolt for the lug. So M6 size bolt uses M8 lugs?
