Perhaps I'm biased, but I'd argue that the panels (roof and wall) in the first pic, add to the overall look of that property. It really looks great to me.
Wow, at first I did not even notice the panels on the wall, thought it was just part of an attractive wall design.
Same here, I did a double take, then read the post again, in case I was jumping to conclusions. I think the wall panels add a great look, possibly where a household may fit a line of wood panels, or similar, as a feature. The sort of thing on Grand Designs, where they burn the face of beech panels (or something like that) and add as a surface cladding.

It's just a shame I took it so early in the morning while the insulated shutters were still down ;)

Nice "feature" that actually pays for itself :) ..some of you lot must be overdue for an optometrists visit methinks.

With the modern nature of the design it looks a treat, i'd like that build over here, try getting that past concrete tile insisting councils to "fit in"

Reminder to self to do first panel insitu test with microinverter on a temporary test basis to see it flow and see software working.

Then to do the same test with Second panel at our home to see if microinverter stalls when pushing against the hybrid inverter. Good knowledge to have. ;)

I am betting it WILL stall as these systems (diy or not) are designed to overmatch grid voltage only to flow and not get into a one potato, two potato match with a higher spec grid connected hybrid inverter on the same home circuit? :ugeek:

Going back to the original post, the EV Puzzle dealt with this product quite positively. One of the most interesting comments was at 6.5 minutes in when he showed how the cables got past the window They use flat cables which can be trapped in the seal of the opening window. I’m not sure whether this will lead to cable damage due to repeated opening of said window.

Watching it now.

First thought is that it really needs a thermal camera on the flat cable appraisal.
Secondly as they are MC4 connections anyone with a modicum of gumption can effect a cheap repair should the cables become badly rubbed / pinched
(unless there has been any trickiness added to ensure you BUY complete replacement leads (can't see that myself)

A handy starter kit that seems to beat the system.

IF ecoflow (flogging the kit) say it can be domestic socket install, I'd like to see if insurance companies have assessed this up & coming kit type yet & that the cover is in place, because otherwise that will hold a lot of folk from pushing the buy button.

Haven't looked at either cost nor chemistry yet.

Thanks for posting stan, would not have found it if you hadn't posted.

It has been withdrawn from UK sale as it isn't compliant. I read somewhere (maybe even on here) that they are working on a solution. If you follow their links to balcony solar on their UK website it has the rest of the kit (panels, flat cable etc and the battery that they call a generator) minus the grid inverter. The inverter shows on the website but shows no stock.

That's a shame, I would guess for the 3 pin plug solution only? It does make me wonder how stupid the average UK person is deemed to be that they need this level of nannying?

Can o-worms joe, Nannying society whilst making them dumber over time as explained away by the long tenure of of "the one show" & the mainstream channels dumbing down because attention spans are shorter so they pander to it.

"Doh"

Again we need a solution to this FAST, but it will be another personal e-transport saga before it comes good.

In the meantime sales of portable storage go's up unregulated with people doubtless soon buying "chinese solutions" that may really put the cat amongst the pigeons ...but oh the headlines & outrage it could create (unnecessarily)

"Ban this killer craze" my favourite Daily fail headline, SO, SO versatile..
