Annoying as it would have been a PB for me

Incredibly satisfying day today. 😌 Woke up with the stack at 20% soc (planned). Knew we were in for a grey rainy day and not disappointed. That 20% didn't drop any further and we ended the daylight part of the day with.77% soc.

That's a good test 👌. :D Clockmanfra said something to me on a visit about his goal for min generation in all situations. It stuck with me and while I can't quite get 'there', this is pretty good. You never know what'll resonate.

While I haven't managed to shut off all grid use It is balanced with WT1's output. Next 5 days are sunny. Hopefully that will be the trigger to leave grid alone until Oct? :D

Next 3 days look epic for me, house will be full for Easter, but no matter, the solar should cope with the extra demand.

I checked back on last April and the Ripple wind turbine more than covered my import so should be energy negative until November as last October was easily covered too.

32.2kWh here, four loads through the washer and two loads tumble dried, hoovered the house, run the dishwasher, filled the batteries. And still exported 17.4kWh. Just misjudged the fall off slightly and imported 0.3kWh more than should be necessary (I suspect I will always import 0.1kWh).

I messed up and put an unnecessary 20kWh in the battery last night.

Wouldn't worry about it, I'm doing that most nights!

Another grey day here with 1.2kW incoming at the moment. Charged EV about 20 miles earlier, No1 is gaming on PC, washing machine will go on as we head out the door to see the Mario movie in 3D (oh yes). We'll see what the panels can bring in our absence this afternoon starting from 20% soc.

As I said before, I find this close to the edge (grid) stuff enormously satisfying. The grey has brightened a little while I typed so should be up to about 1.5kW now. :)

Edit 12.07- 3kW, it's like Christmas! 8-)
