Found a production graph on a 2 week basis. Bodes well full Summer. Suns gone for the moment yet its producing a wee bit.
This is the first full day with system fully insitu, warts and all. Will it crack 5kWh or are we too late in the season?

I'm not sure if its to a logical conclusion or not but I thought to check the three PV systems against each other. For reference this was 17th Sept sunrise to 10.50hrs or so. I'll try and catch them this evening too to make it fair across a complete day. I'm pretty sure that No1's system is the little engine that can. :D

5.12kW E/W system with optimisers (1.94/5.12=37.89%)
Edit 5pm 132%
Image

4.875kW South(ish) facing (2.68/4.875= 54.97%)
Edit 5pm 159%
Image

800W South(ish) facing (0.593/0.8=74.1%)
Edit 5pm 146%

Not the day to try this but the little engine held up well.

It gives you power info on each input ?, thats neat.
That software seems quite superior to my rough and ready utilitarian software ^^

It kinda does what it says but does typify the Heath Robinson approach many Chinese companies use. I guess its down to v tight margins.
PV 1.1kWh
Victron Multiplus 8K II 48v/100A + Victron 150/35 & 250/60 charge controller + lynx 1000
CerboGX, 25kW Pylontech batteries
Octopus Agile - Cheaper Battery Charging
Another 2.3kWh on the horizon - ground mount + 4x575's

Paradoxically I found the software on the WMC unit to be just good enough and was happy with it. The unit itself was the sad part for me. Its sitting in the workshop waiting on the parts from China.

Which means I'll need to buy a couple of cheap used 200W panels, which will then go on workshop roof to catch the afternoon and evening sun.....maybe.

Let me know if you need the components removing and fitting.

MOSFETs will require a very high power iron to solder as they can sink a lot of heat. Ideally an 80w+
3kW FIT Solar
0.8kW balcony solar.
2,372 W of turbine at Whitelaw Brae
6kw Panasonic air to air heat pump for downstairs.
2 WBS. Stovax 8kw and 5kw Morso squirrel
Rointe D series in 2 bedrooms and bathroom.
Aiming to go fully electric....

I appreciate that, thank you.

Grey skies yet No1's wee array is putting out over 100W. Though I'd do a quick bulb check....

Found and replaced 330W potential of bulbs. Now down to 40W.

An average Sept day here, I seem to default to a stroll over between 10.30 to 11.30 hrs. A decent 1/2 kW plus when cloud not present. I am looking forward to Winter(ish) readings so we can hopefully deploy a low Wattage long hour panel heater. Looking to squeak 300W at those times and then we'll try it out..
