Thanks George, much appreciated, I had a piece. Always worth keeping the offcuts! Was just in case Nowty went for one and was rail-less.

Oh it’s been lashed in for a year to prove functionality, just
tidying up now.

Made backboard from spare sarking boards, gave it a few coats of varnish for longevity.

Got 2 unistrut brackets to fit to hold it to the wall, as you say that’s not a today job due to the weather…

I do take motivation from the forum, it encourages me when I see all the other projects…. Got to finish off crawling under the timber floor to install more insulation, but that’s thankless and doesn’t involve playing with tools in the garage so low priority

Absolutely priority correct, i'd do the same. 👌

I might have a midafternoon workshop tidy while gazing at the ever changing kW count. Mesmerising.

No1's place will soon have generated its first 50kWh while the Enphase powerhouse should crack 1kWh sometime next week.

Got mine up and running this morning.

Tay, if you want to send me some details I will try and see if I can set an account for you.
Finally got an update, seems they have had the device for the last 7-8 days and now have decided to send the duty fee request, no sign of that yet, perhaps Royal Mail (as they have it now) are using their own service to send it !!.

Then hopefully I can join the balcony solar PV experience !
