All time record!

#1

Post by Stinsy »

I know this is small potatoes compared to you better-endowed chaps, and this is my first summer with the bigger array, but yesterday I generated 27.5kWh which is a best ever for me. I have no-doubt that there is more to come seeing as my main array "only" generated 23.7kWh and the previous record of 25.7kWh on 31st May 2020 was with the main array only.
12x 340W JA Solar panels (4.08kWp)
3x 380W JA Solar panels (1.14kWp)
5x 2.4kWh Pylontech batteries (12kWh)
LuxPower inverter/charger

(Artist formally known as ******, well it should be obvious enough to those for whom such things are important.)

Well done, every bit extra helps, everything being equal you should be looking to get nearly 33kWh with both arrays compared with your previous best.
3.87kWp PV
10.24kWp PV SolarEdge system
Tesla Powerwall 2
100 x 47mm Navitron tubes (still being installed!) Now likely to be removed for more PV.
MK2 PV router DHW diverter
Morso 5kW WBS
Vaillant AroTherm 10kW ASHP

So the big thirty's coming but probably next year now, the yield records tend to go in May or very early June when its cooler on sunny days.
18.7kW PV > 109MWh generated
Ripple 6.6kW Wind + 4.5kW PV > 26MWh generated
5 Other RE Coop's
105kWh EV storage
60kWh Home battery storage
40kWh Thermal storage
GSHP + A2A HP's
Rain water use > 510 m3

It's easy to get PV Size Envy - but the main thing is that all solar is good solar.

Excellent, I've amended your annual generation in my secret list.

I'm presuming your installing them and not selling them !

Yes! Installing at my fiance's gaff.

Supply for the solar thermal and some reserve in case of any outage...
