Spoke too soon!!

I appear to have a problem with my brand new PV setup.
From installation yesterday, I installed the SunSynk app and have avidly monitored the solar input, battery state, grid in/out etc.
Right from the start it was only showing load as 30W maximum, no matter what qas being used - not a flat line 30W, but fluctuating around 28~30.
Bit odd, but I wasn't too worried to start with - but the app this morning reckons I've only imported a total of 0.6kWh from the grid. However, the actual meter shows 8.3kWh since yesterday afternoon (standard meter, unable to get a smart meter currently), so there is something not right!
Any ideas from you very helpful people?
I've emailed the installation company, but I would put money on getting a more sensible answer and quicker on here!
Knew it was all too good to be true

Sounds like a problem with the CT clipped to the supply cable to me. Either it's not fitted properly or it may just be the wrong way around.

Thanks Oldgreybeard.
I've tried reversing the CT clamp & then swapping it between the 2 cables from the meter to the consumer unit - all 4 combinations show no real difference. I'd turned on the TV to make sure there is an appreciable load.

I'll be getting a Sunsynk hybrid soon, so have been reading through the manual. Doesnt seem the simplest to set up with lots of options and sometimes not really explained very well what each does. Any chance of posting screenshots of the settings pages from the inverter, if you're sure the CT cable is the correct way around and one the main incoming live supply? Oh, and if its a modern TV, I imagine the power drawn for it isnt huge?

I agree that the inverter does not seem simple to set up. I was playing with it for about an hour after they left, as they had set it up to use the grid and PV to charge the battery, and also to prioritise battery charging, so any load was taken from the grid - which seems to completely miss the point of having PV & a battery (unless you use economy 7 in the winter).
The phone app only allows you to monitor the situation - all the settings are in various screens on the inverter - which in my case is in the loft!
I'll have to work out how, or more so - where to store photos in order to post them.

Indeed, i've been reading the FB Sunsynk gruop as well as watching quite a few of the Sunsynk youtube videos, as the UK CEO Keith has made quite a few, some more useful than others. I think it's very easy to miss a setting or too and not quite get the inverter doing what you want, I guess thats a downside of it being quite flexible and having options.
Photos wise, do they auto upload to the cloud from your phone, Google/Apple, from where you can download them onto a PC/tablet from where you post on here, then upload them directly to the forum posts?

Sunsynk FB group, that's a good idea!
I thought for all these forums you have to host the photos somewhere else, and then link to them, they don't allow direct posting. I was going to see if Amazon photos allows such linking

Just use the Add image to post link at the bottom of the input box. The images are uploaded to postimages.org and auto linked.
