Does anyone know of a micro grid tie inverter that would operate from a single 18v photovoltaic panel?

Trouble is when you look at the detail on the spec sheets the start up voltage is usually somewhere around 22 to 26v I’m looking for something that would work off a single 18v dc panel

Ok then, amazon have one the starts at 10.8 volt.
Same info into Google, comes fitted with Mc4 connectors etc

https://www.amazon.co.uk/1600W-Solar-In ... 38&sr=8-57
It says 10.8 volt input.
It also says power 1600W
But when you read the info on the back plate it says. rated output power 150W
CHOCO TEAPOT comes to mind.

What about using a buck booster converter to increase voltage from panel to above 18volt so more options on the inverters.

Thanks AGT I’m afraid I’m guilty of looking at one of those chines clones and reading starting voltage in the 20v tragicomic and assuming they were all the same.
Not thought about the buck boost idea thanks

I tried something like this several years ago, I tried to get a single standard panel to run a grid tie inverter requiring about 100V.
It did work but not very well, I think because the max power point tracker of the GTI was running on the voltage booster and not on the panel. So needs some sort of MPPT in between the panel and the voltage booster.

Have you used one of these? Looks dodgy as hell but would be very useful if they are safe and reliable?
