Hi
Just joined the forum and I am looking for a MCS installer in Scotland.
I already have a 3.76kW grid tied system which has 14 yrs FIT still to go. I would like to add some additional panels plus battery storage.
My preferred additions would be 2-3 kW PV DC coupled to a Victron Multiplus II 48/5000 with 4-5 Pylontech US3000 batteries.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Hi, found this thread following a google search for a home battery installer in Scotland - I’m looking at purchasing 5x Pylontech US5000 Batteries and appropriate inverter to make use of my Octopus cheap rate window to charge them then power my house from battery during peak periods.
Could anyone point me in the right direction of a decent installer that is happy to work with kit supplied by customer? All the local companies want a fools ransom to supply and install whatever kit they’re signed up to, which makes ROI justification extremely hard.
Cheers,
Brian.
