Anyone up to speed on SMA service cable/software?

Posting in the PV section as I think this will be common to PV too.

I have one recently dead 2500W windy boy and one long term dead one with K1 open errors, which apparently, point to one of three grid relays not operating correctly.

The relays are, I think, easy to locate; I can only see X3 relays on the whole board. And replacing them won't be too difficult.

However, elsewhere on the internet; this archive popped up, which has the air of good information;
https://www.mail-archive.com/re-wrenche ... 21863.html

Suggesting that an SMA service cable, plus software, might be able to clear error codes. I'm guessing that, potentially, even if there is a bad relay that's replaced, it might still need errors clearing.

So.... anyone up to speed on these things? Any company recommendations? I'm happy soldering bits on but equally, happy to farm the entire repair out if it's economical. Which, given the cost of small WT inverters, it probably would be.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the information, and potential offer. I'm a bit pushed for time to put to the research at the minute but will have to if it comes to it!

Will speak to the company that installed it next week. I know they don't service turbines anymore but might mess about with an inverter. I did have a helpful contact there if I can find it.
